FORT WORTH, Texas -- Former TCU safety Landry Burdine will be the sideline reporter on the Horned Frogs' radio broadcasts this season.Burdine was a three-year letterman (1996-98) and team captain on TCU's 1998 Sun Bowl championship squad. He is a 1999 TCU graduate with a degree in marketing.
"I'm looking forward to the perspective that Landry will bring to our broadcast as a former safety in (TCU head coach) Gary Patterson's defense," TCU director of broadcasting and play-by-play voice Brian Estridge said. "It's been rewarding watching him grow from TCU football player to committed husband and father and someone who gives of himself to the TCU and Fort Worth communities.
"Landry epitomizes the Circle of Life that Coach Patterson emphasizes with his players past and present. He will be a terrific addition to our broadcast team."
Since 2010, Burdine has served as managing director of the Dallas/Fort Worth office for Land Advisors Organization, a national land brokerage company based in Scottsdale, Ariz. Prior to joining Land Advisors Organization, Burdine owned and operated his own land brokerage firm in Fort Worth.
