FORT WORTH, Texas - Twenty-nine student-athletes from 11 sports are set to walk across the stage and receive their diplomas Saturday during the 2013 Fall Commencement ceremonies at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.
All 29 of the student-athletes have concluded their illustrious careers at TCU, with a number of the individuals earning all-conference and national honors on the field and in the classroom.
Nine student-athletes will represent the football team on Saturday - the most of all the programs at TCU. All-American and recently named Big 12 Co-Defensive Player of the Year Jason Verrett, along with the Horned Frogs' career leader in completion percentage Casey Pachall, will end their academic careers this weekend.
Rifle's Sarah Scherer, a 2012 Olympian, two-time smallbore National Champion and four-time All-American, is one of the many accomplished student-athletes in this weekend's class.
Track and Field student-athlete Chaniqua Corinealdi will leave TCU as a five-time All-American and a five-time conference champion. Agnes Kemboi was a two-time NCAA qualifier in cross country, while also being named to the South Central All-Region team twice and All-Big 12.
