"RAILGATE" TRIP A SUCCESS
This past Saturday's "Frog Club Railgate" to Norman was a major success. We truly enjoyed the quality time with everyone who was part of our inaugural trip through our Frog Club Donor Rewards Program. A special thank you to BNSF and Chairman and CEO Matt Rose for making this trip possible.

Also, the Oct. 18 deadline to renew basketball season tickets is rapidly approaching.
NEW FACES
Several of you have already had the opportunity to meet Jennifer Colley, our new senior director of the TCU Frog Club. Jennifer, who has over 21 years of fundraising and event management experience, began her TCU duties on Sept. 30. She previously served as assistant athletics director for development for the Longhorn Foundation at the University of Texas. At UT, Jennifer's duties included the cultivation and solicitation of major gifts to the athletics department, oversight of premium seating areas for football and stewardship programs covering all athletics donors. Jennifer and her husband, Dr. Terry Colley, have two children: Travis and Kate. Please join me in welcoming Jennifer to the TCU Athletics Family!
HORNED FROG CLASSIC RECAP
Our 35th-annual Horned Frog Classic was held Monday at Colonial Country Club. A picturesque weather day welcomed 208 players to our iconic fall golf event. We are very grateful to Greenwood Office Outfitters, our title sponsor, for their longtime support as well as our new corporate partners, including Reynolds & Reynolds as our first-ever awards dinner sponsor. Congratulations to the winning team of Thomas Hervey, Jeff Goodsell, Justin Davidson and Brandon Immel. They captured the Mick Ashworth Trophy, named for the tournament's founder, and will represent TCU at the Acura National College Alumni Championship Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina.
HALL OF FAME INDUCTION SET
Thursday in the Brown-Lupton University Union will be a special evening for our athletics program as we formally induct the members of our 2013 class into the TCU Lettermen's Association Hall of Fame. Congratulations to Kim Collins (men's track and field), Wilson Groseclose (football/men's basketball), Paul Robinson (men's tennis), Bo Schobel (football), Bobby Stewart (football) and Stevanie Wadsworth Ferguson (women's track and field) on taking their place among the all-time greats in our athletics history.

BIG WINS
Congratulations to our eighth-ranked equestrian program on a great opening to its season with an 11-9 victory over No. 7 Baylor on Saturday at Turning Point Ranch in Springtown. After sweeping the Bears 5-0 in Reining, we sealed the win with an 8-2 decision in Western.
ON THE DOCKET
It's another busy week for our sports programs, highlighted by a Saturday Homecoming doubleheader with football hosting Kansas at 11 a.m. and volleyball facing Texas Tech at 5 p.m. Free t-shirts will be provided to the first 1,000 fans at the volleyball match. Show your football ticket stub to receive a discounted $3 ticket for volleyball. Along those Homecoming lines, men's tennis will welcome back its former lettermen with a weekend reunion. Both our tennis programs are in action with tournaments throughout the week. The men have the USTA Futures with the women in Dallas for the 25th Collin College Fall Open. Soccer hits the road with matches Friday at Kansas and Sunday at West Virginia. Rifle will be in Charleston, S.C., on Saturday to face The Citadel, while women's golf begins play Sunday at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational in Austin.

The Big 12 has three of the nation's 17 undefeated football teams. No other conference has more. Seven of the nine Big 12 games played this season have been decided by 10 points or less.
MEET THE STAFF
Jeremy Martin is nearing his one-year anniversary as our assistant ticket manager. He assists in all aspects of our ticket office, while overseeing the operations for soccer and volleyball. A native of Atchison, Kan., birthplace of Amelia Earhart, Jeremy is a 2011 graduate of the University of Kansas, where he earned a degree in sports management. Jeremy worked as an intern in the KU ticket office before coming to TCU.
WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
TCU swimming standouts Dana Kizer '03 and Jamie MacCurdy Kizer '02 still grace our record books more than a decade after swimming for the Horned Frogs. Dana was the anchor on many of TCU's winning relay teams. His 200-yard freestyle relay team's time is the third-best mark in school history. Jamie continues to hold the school record in the 200-yard backstroke. She also swam anchor on TCU's best 400-yard medley relay. Dana and Jamie were married in September 2005, the same day of our football win at Oklahoma. They welcomed twin daughters, Claire and Caroline, in March 2012. Dana currently works as a broker consultant for The CSG Companies in Fort Worth, while Jamie is an assurance senior manager with BDO, USA in Dallas. They live in Trophy Club and are also active in the TCU Lettermen's Association and Frog Club.

COMPLIANCE CORNER
The Ocean State University (OSU) men's soccer team is playing an away from home competition tomorrow night. The team arrives in the locale of the competition this afternoon, so the coaches would like to provide entertainment to the team this evening. Another institution that OSU will be playing next month is playing tonight against a different local team. Can OSU provide expenses for the team to go watch the future opponent play tonight?
No. NCAA Staff Interpretation - 9/27/13 - Institution's Team Observing Opponent's Competition (I) - states that it is not permissible for an institution to pay expenses for the institution's team to scout a future opponent as entertainment in conjunction with practice or competition.
