POSTGAME NOTES
TCU 76, UAB 73
South Padre Island, Texas (South Padre Island Convention Centre)
Nov. 24, 2012
* TCU improved to 5-2 for the third consecutive season.
* Kyan Anderson scored 35 points to set a new career high. His previous best was a 22-point effort during last season's road loss at San Diego State (Feb. 4, 2012).
* Anderson's scoring total marked the most points by a Frog since Kevin Langford scored 36 during a Jan. 21, 2009 home win over Wyoming.
* Anderson's total was also the most by a Big 12 player this season entering the day. Baylor's Pierre Jackson had held the top performance of 31 points set during a Nov. 15 win over Boston College.
* Anderson's 18 first-half points were the most for a Frog in a half since Garlon Green totaled 18 in the first half of last season's 85-53 home win over Grambling State (Dec. 22, 2011).
* Anderson was named to the South Padre Island Invitational All-Tournament Team, the first such honor in his career.
* TCU set season highs in points (76) and free-throw percentage (81.0 percent). The squad broke a three-game streak of scoring fewer than 50 points, the longest such streak since 1951.
* TCU outshot the opponent for the sixth time in seven games.
