TICKET UPDATE
The 2012 football season ticket packets will soon be mailed. It is very important for those interested in purchasing 2012 season tickets to review the information carefully and return the Response Form included in the packet to the Frog Club by Feb. 6. The Response Form tells us whether you are interested in group seating and how you will be selecting your seats. This is extremely helpful to us in determining the staff necessary to assist in the seat selection process.
A POPULAR STREAM
In addition to the approximately 3,000 folks we had in the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum for last week's Seating Summit, our live online stream on GoFrogs.com generated 1,406 views with 644 of you watching the entire presentation.
CONSTRUCTION HAPPENINGS
The new film towers on the Morris Football Practice Fields have been installed. We are also in the midst of our graphics installation in the Sam Baugh Indoor Practice Facility. This process embraces the rich tradition in our football program by honoring our bowl history and national award winners. Demo work continues on the Walsh Complex, which will feature our new football locker room, training room and equipment room.
ALUMNI IN NFL ACTION
Thanks to Colin Jones, it was nice to hear TCU mentioned during the dramatic San Francisco-New Orleans playoff game Saturday. Colin, who has his TCU degree in hand, has shown the value of playing special teams in his rookie season with the 49ers. He had a pair of tackles and a fumble recovery against the Saints. Many of you enjoyed watching him play the previous four seasons with the Horned Frogs. In his final game in a TCU uniform, he had a career-high 10 tackles in the Rose Bowl win over Wisconsin. We also have representation in Sunday's AFC Championship game with Marcus Cannon and Malcolm Williams in their rookie seasons with the New England Patriots.

ON THE DOCKET
We hope to see you tonight at 6:30 in the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum as our women's basketball team hosts UNLV. We also have a home game Saturday at 2:30 p.m. when our men take on Boise State. Our men's swimming and diving team will have Senior Night when it hosts SMU tomorrow at 6 p.m. in the Rec Center. Saturday features the spring opener for both our rifle and women's tennis programs. Rifle will put its 25-match regular-season winning streak on the line against Kentucky, while women's tennis hosts Syracuse in an 11 a.m. match at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
BASEBALL SEASON NEARING
Please note that our baseball season-ticket deadline of Monday, Jan. 23, is just a few days away. On Feb. 1, non-renewed seats and single-game tickets will be made available to the general public. This year's schedule features a school-record 34 home games, beginning with a Feb. 17 three-game series versus Ole Miss.

WOMEN'S CLINIC ON TAP
Our baseball program's third-annual Women's Clinic benefitting the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Greater Fort Worth will be Thursday, Feb. 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the Sam Baugh Indoor Practice Facility. For more information and to register, please click HERE.

SIGNING DAY IN TWO WEEKS
The Frog Club's Feb. 1 Football Signing Day reception has a very limited number of seats remaining. This popular annual tradition begins at 5 p.m. in the Brown-Lupton University Union Grand Ballroom. You can register at the following LINK. At 2 p.m. that day, we'll be streaming live Gary Patterson's news conference from the Four Sevens Team Room. Make sure to visit our website at that time to hear the announcement of our 2012 football recruiting class.
DATE CHANGE
The date of our next online chat on GoFrogs.com has been changed to next Thursday, Jan. 26, at 3 p.m. I hope you can join us. Feel free to ask any questions that might be on your mind.
COMPLIANCE CORNER
Complimentary admissions can only be provided through a pass list. Each individual on a student-athlete's pass list will need to show identification in order to receive their complimentary admission. An institution MAY NOT provide a special arrangement to sell a student-athlete ticket(s) to an athletics event. Tickets shall be available for purchase by student-athletes according to the same purchasing procedures used for other students. The provision of complimentary or reduced-cost admissions to prospective student-athletes for an NCAA championship (all rounds) or other postseason contests (e.g., bowl game, NIT championship) constitutes excessive entertainment and is prohibited. The prospective student-athlete may purchase tickets to such events only in the same manner as any other member of the general public. A student-athlete MAY NOT purchase tickets for an intercollegiate athletics event from the institution and then sell the tickets at a price greater than their face value, as this constitutes an extra benefit. An institution or any representative of its athletics interests MAY NOT purchase or otherwise obtain tickets to a professional sports event and make these tickets available to student-athletes enrolled in an NCAA member institution. Individuals designated by the student-athlete to receive complimentary admissions are NOT permitted to receive any type of payment for these admissions or to exchange or assign them for any item of value, as this would be an extra benefit. Please always remember to ASK BEFORE YOU ACT! Please feel free to contact our NCAA Compliance office (817-257-7525) with any questions.
