PARDON OUR PROGRESS
We're excited to have our first home football game Saturday as the ULM Warhawks come to Amon G. Carter Stadium for a 1 p.m. kickoff. As noted in the past, we are in a live construction site. We ask for your patience as we make our way through a season in transition.
DONOR PARKING REMAINS
We have a very limited amount of donor parking available for this football season and will likely sell out by week's end. If you are interested, please don't delay in calling our Frog Club office at (817) 257-7700.
TRAVELING TO AMON G. CARTER STADIUM
With the limited parking we have available for this season, I'm constantly asked for advice on game-day parking. If you're a season-ticket holder or a single-game purchaser from last season, you should have received an email explaining all the different options. If you don't have a reserved spot, we have $10 pay lots available on the grass behind home plate at Lupton Stadium. What's really become popular the last couple of years are the free parking and shuttle services we offer from Paschal High School, the Sandage lot off Berry Street and McKinney Memorial Bible Church on Hulen. If you're a first-time visitor to campus, directions to these free lots are available via our fan guide at the following link: CLICK HERE.
FROG ALLEY RETURNS
With all the change at Amon G. Carter Stadium this fall, one constant remains. Frog Alley is back! Located behind the east side of the stadium, there's no better pre-game family atmosphere in the country. Frog Alley opens two hours before kickoff. Live music, food and beverages, game broadcasts, inflatables, bounce houses, face painters, a youth zone and autographs from student-athletes in other sports. My family will be there, and I look forward to seeing you there. For more information on Frog Alley, please CLICK HERE.

VIDEO BOARD INSTALLATION
Our game week prep work is highlighted by the installation of our new video boards. The new board in the north end zone is already up and running, while the new south end zone board is currently being installed. Our crews are also busy posting temporary signage throughout the stadium.
THE UNDEFEATED
Congratulations to Prentice Lewis, her staff and especially the student-athletes in our volleyball program on their record-breaking start to the season. Last night's 3-0 victory over Baylor kept us undefeated at 10-0. It's the best start we've had in program history. In addition to Baylor, we've had impressive wins over the likes of Texas Tech, UConn, Alabama and Villanova. We've already won three tournaments. Make plans to see our next home match on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. when the Texas Longhorns come to the Rec Center.

GREAT WEEKENDS
It was definitely a great time to be a Horned Frog this past weekend. In addition to our football team winning at Air Force and our volleyball success, our soccer program captured the Red Raider Classic in Lubbock. Jordan Calhoun scored both goals in 1-0 wins over Toledo and Hofstra. Freshman Alicen Wright continued her great play in goal with a pair of shutouts.
NEW WEIGHT ROOM OPENS
Our new weight room of nearly 20,000 square feet is now in full use. This incredible facility enables us to have 45,000 pounds of weights available to service more than 100 student-athletes at any one time.
BASKETBALL SEASON NEARING
Season tickets for our men's and women's basketball programs go on sale Monday. In order to guarantee your men's basketball tickets for next year when we begin BIG EAST Conference play, you must be a season-ticket holder this year. For the women's games, season tickets are $100. With your purchase of women's basketball season tickets this year, your price will be frozen for next year in the BIG EAST.

HALL OF FAMERS RECOGNIZED
One of my favorite nights of the year is tomorrow, when we induct our annual TCU Lettermen's Association Hall of Fame class. This year's impressive honorees are track and field standouts Rebecca Allison '88, Johnny L. Collins II '00 and Bill Shelton Curtis (posthumously) '57, women's tennis player Tory Plunkett '89 and football's Tracy Simien '88 and Shawn Worthen '00. Our ceremony is at 6:30 p.m. in the BLUU Ballroom. Available seating still remains. The cost is $40 per person and pre-payment is required. To reserve a seat, please call our Frog Club office at (817) 257-7700.
COMPLIANCE CORNER
In case you were wondering about recruiting periods, I hope the following is helpful. A.) A contact period is a period of time when it is permissible for authorized athletics department staff members to make in-person, off-campus recruiting contacts and evaluations. B.) An evaluation period is a period of time when it is permissible for authorized athletics department staff members to be involved in off-campus activities designed to assess the academic qualifications and playing ability of prospective student-athletes. No in-person, off-campus recruiting contacts shall be made with the prospective student-athlete during an evaluation period. C.) A quiet period is a period of time when it is permissible to make in-person recruiting contacts only on the institution's campus. No in-person, off-campus recruiting contacts or evaluations may be made during the quiet period. D.) A dead period is a period of time when it is not permissible to make in-person recruiting contacts or evaluations on or off the institution's campus or to permit official or unofficial visits by prospective student-athletes to the institution's campus. The provision of complimentary admissions to a prospective student-athlete during a dead period is prohibited, except as provided in Bylaw 13.7.2.5 for a prospective student-athlete who visits an institution as part of a group. During a dead period, a coaching staff member may not serve as a speaker at or attend a meeting or banquet at which prospective student-athletes are in attendance, except as provided in Bylaw 13.1.8.1, and may not visit a prospective student-athlete's educational institution. It remains permissible, however, for an institutional staff member to write or telephone a prospective student-athlete during a dead period. Please remember to always ask before you act. Our NCAA compliance office can be reached at (817) 257-7525.
KEY REMINDER
As we talk about all the time, every day is a good day to wear purple and especially on Friday with our Go Purple Friday initiative. We very much appreciate the support of Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price in lighting up our city streets in purple. It seems like everywhere you go, there is passion for TCU. As you can see from the image below, the Horned Frog pride even extends to Arnold's Drive-In in Milwaukee. We very much appreciate the Fonz conveniently placing the TCU pennant right above Richie and Potsie during this particular episode of Happy Days. A special thanks goes to 10-year-old Hunter Wachs in Alabama for taking the photo and sending it my way.
