POSTGAME NOTES
USC 83, TCU 59
Los Angeles, Calif. (Galen Center)
Dec. 19, 2011
Attendance: 3,208
* TCU dropped to 7-4 overall, suffering its first road defeat of the season. The Frogs were trying to become the first TCU team to win three road non-conference games in a row since the 1942-43 season.
* TCU's streak of consecutive games with 11 or more offensive rebounds was snapped. The Frogs had totaled 11 or more in seven straight contests, the team's longest streak since 2005-06.
* USC, which shot 50.9 percent from the field overall, became the sixth opponent in 11 games this season to break the 50.0 percent barrier against the Frogs.
* Hank Thorns topped TCU in scoring with 12 points, the team-leading fifth time this season he has paced the squad.
* Connell Crossland totaled career highs of seven points and 11 rebounds. His previous bests were four points and six rebounds.
* Crossland became the fourth different Frog to pull down 10 or more rebounds in a game this season, joining J.R. Cadot (three times), Adrick McKinney (twice) and Craig Williams (once).
* Kyan Anderson dished out a career-high five assists, breaking his previous best of four dimes set during the season-opening win over Florida Gulf Coast.
