LET'S GO RANGERS!
How about those Texas Rangers! Here's hoping our good friends can close it out in St. Louis and bring our area another championship. Some of you might not know that team president and icon Nolan Ryan was once a Frog. After his retirement as an active player, Nolan was an assistant baseball coach with us for five years. During that time, Nolan's sons, Reid and Reese, were playing for the Frogs. Nolan has remained loyal to TCU. It's been fun to watch the games.
FROGS FOR THE CURE
We look forward to seeing you Friday night at Cowboys Stadium for our 7 p.m. football game with BYU. Make sure to stay in your seats at halftime as we honor breast cancer survivors with our annual Frogs for the Cure game. Ann Louden has been phenomenal in organizing this event and making it one of our more popular and recognizable traditions. She has also helped generate a national awareness to what TCU is doing to promote breast cancer awareness.

FUTURE HOME GAMES
Please let me assure you that there is no truth to any of the internet rumors that some of our future Big 12 home games will be played at Cowboys Stadium. You have just made an incredible investment in a new Amon G. Carter Stadium, and we are fully committed to playing host to all our future Big 12 opponents on campus.
SOLD OUT
The last remaining available suite on the west side of Amon G. Carter Stadium has been sold. It's an incredible show of passion for TCU that all 25 new suites are purchased. A special thank you goes to all those who have made an investment in TCU through season tickets, the Frog Club, facility improvements or suites and club seats. We are able to dream big and see those dreams come true because of you!
FINE DINING
I had a great opportunity last night to meet a lot of our freshman student-athletes at an etiquette dinner in the Moncrief Club. This event is held through our CHAMPS/Life Skills program. We have a responsibility to our student-athletes to not just provide a positive experience on the playing fields and courts, but also in educating and preparing them for professional growth and development. The etiquette dinner gave tips for when they're in a formal dinner setting, especially when it's with a potential employer in a job interview.
ONLINE AUCTIONS
Don't forget to check out the on-line auction items we have available on our website at HERE. There are some nice-looking boots currently available.

ON THE DOCKET
Sandwiched around Friday's football game with BYU at Cowboys Stadium is a pair of home volleyball matches in the Rec Center. We host Air Force Thursday at 7 p.m. and Boise State Saturday at 1 p.m.
TOP PERFORMANCES
For the second straight week, we had an outstanding performance from a women's tennis doubles team. Millie Nichols and Olivia Smith knocked off the No. 1, 2 and 4 seeds en route to the championship at the USTA/ITA Texas Regional at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. In the title match Tuesday, Millie and Olivia, who earlier defeated doubles teams from Texas and SMU, knocked off the No. 2-seeded duo from Texas A&M. Over in rifle, Sarah Beard won a bronze medal while representing the United States at the Pan-American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico.

COMPLIANCE CORNER
An institution may use or arrange for a temporary consultant to provide in-service training for a coaching staff, but no interaction with student-athletes is permitted without counting against applicable coaching limits. Additionally, an outside consultant may not have involvement on- or off-field/court/etc., coaching activities without counting against applicable coaching limits. This prohibits attending practices and meetings involving coaching activities (game planning, analyzing video of own team or opponent, etc.). Remember to ask before you act! Please contact our NCAA Compliance office at (817) 257-7525 with any questions.
