TCU Names Athletes of the Week

FORT WORTH - Josh Elander and Carrie von Uhlit have been named TCU Athletes of the Week for their performances this past weekend.A senior on the equestrian team, Carrie von Uhlit went 3-0 in competition at the Best of the West tournament hosted by Fresno State to improve to 13-2 on the season.
Josh Elander led the team with eight hits, six RBIs and four stolen bases in the baseball team's sweep of Sam Houston State. He hit .800 (8-for-10) in his first action at the collegiate level. Elander is tied for the team lead with two walks, while posting an on-base percentage of .833.
