On dropping a close game:
"When you play a good basketball team, they make the plays you need to to win the game. I give Northern Iowa all the credit, they made all the plays and we didn't make the play we needed to. They got a couple offensive rebounds and some crazy fouls, so we hurt ourselves. They put us in one-on-one situations and we had to make a stop. They just kept getting angles to the basket. Those are winning plays. We just have to learn from this."

On how the Frogs tried to work the ball inside during the game:
"Coach always wants us to work the ball inside, and Nikola (Gacesa) is a good player. When we do get him the ball, he scores. We just have to keep trying to get it to him."
On not capitalizing on every opportunity during the game:
"It got our attention. We need to go out there and play harder."
