- TCU dropped to 9-5 overall this season and 1-2 in true road contests.
- TCU dropped to 3-2 this season against teams that reached postseason play a year ago.
- Ronnie Moss led TCU with 19 points and is now only four shy of becoming the 30th member of TCU's 1,000-point club.
- Moss led TCU in scoring for the team-best eighth time this season.
- Greg Hill reached double figures for the first time this season with 12 points. He made his first three attempts from beyond the arc prior to his only miss on a contested miss in the game's final seconds.
- TCU's five turnovers marked a season low, topping the squad's previous best of nine recorded against both Jackson State and Northern Iowa.
