POSTGAME QUOTES
TCU 96, Northwestern State 79
Fort Worth, Texas (Daniel-Meyer Coliseum)
Dec. 21, 2010
Attendance: 3,636
TCU Head Coach Jim Christian
On the game:
"At the end of the day, we had 19 assists and 96 points while shooting 57 percent. It is hard to complain. We would like to get our turnover numbers down, but some of that are guys not playing the right spots. I thought we responded well after a loss. We came back and played together, and that is what we are looking for."
On inconsistency between playing at home and on the road:
"I think it is a lot of things. We have six guys playing Division I basketball for the first time. At the end of the day, I am happy where we are."
On the maturity of Ronnie Moss:
"I think today he made plays he would not have the last two years. I thought he played mature. He did a great job tonight of getting everyone involved in the game when he was at point."
TCU junior guard J.R. Cadot
On his home shooting streak:
"It is just playing with confidence at home, and I am trying to get it to carry over on the road."
The change in the team play from the start of the game to the end:
"We just came together. We knew we had to make a statement, and that is what we did."
On one thing that has been consistent this season:
"I think it is carrying over. It seems to me we will have one good night and then a bad night following it. That is something we are working on every day in practice, and I feel we are getting better at every game."
TCU sophomore forward Garlon Green
On tonight's win:
"I think it was a great win. We are trying to finish off non-conference strong and that is win No. 1."
