POSTGAME NOTES
TCU 96, Northwestern State 79
Fort Worth, Texas (Daniel-Meyer Coliseum)
Dec. 21, 2010
Attendance: 3,636
- TCU improved to 8-4 overall and 6-1 at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.
- TCU's 96 points marked a season high and the most in a regulation game in the three-year Jim Christian era. The last time the Frogs scored as many points in a regulation game was Nov. 21, 2007 during a 99-67 victory over Grambling State.
- The Frogs' 56 points in the second half marked the squad's highest total in a period this season. The previous high of 49 was recorded twice.
- TCU topped 50.0 percent shooting for the fifth time in its seven home games.
- TCU won the rebounding battle (41-22) for the sixth time in the last seven games. The Frogs outrebounded the Demons 24-7 in the second half.
- Ronnie Moss scored a season-high 22 points, his third 20-point performance this season and 13th of his career.
- Moss' 11-of-11 showing at the free-throw line tied him with Brent Hacket (Feb. 20, 2008 vs. Colorado State) and Ryan Carroll (Dec. 6, 2000 vs. VCU) for the third-best single-game performance in school history. Former Frog great Kurt Thomas set the all-time record with a 16-of-16 effort vs. Fairfield on Jan. 4, 1995.
- Garlon Green recorded his first career 20-point effort with a career-high 21 points.
- TCU had a pair of 20-point scorers for the first time since Feb. 24, 2010 against UNLV, when Moss scored 25 and former Frog Zvonko Buljan had 21.
- J.R. Cadot went 6-for-6 from the field, extending his streak of made field-goal attempts in home games to 21 in a row. He has not missed a shot at the DMC since TCU's Nov. 27 win over Houston and has been perfect from the field in each of the last four home contests.
- TCU's 19 assists tied for the squad's second-best total this season. The Frogs have now totaled 17 or more helpers five times compared to only eight times all of last season.
