POSTGAME QUOTES
TCU 78, Prairie View A&M 61
Fort Worth, Texas (Daniel-Meyer Coliseum)
Dec. 1, 2010
Attendance: 3,524
TCU HEAD COACH Jim Christian
On TCU's play against the Panthers:
"Their team came out and played a very different style of game than we have faced so far. In the second half, I challenged us to rebound more, which we did to make it three games in a row that we have out-rebounded our opponent. I think we shared the ball well today."
On the team's shooting percentage:
"I think we did a decent job. I thought we played well on the break for the first time in three games getting the ball up court. It is good to see more passing up the court and not as much dribbling."
On J.R. Cadot's performance:
"I think he is a really good passer and becoming a really good shooter. He has been much improved from the beginning of the year to now. He is an energy guy. I challenged him at halftime to make some plays. He kind of gets us going on the floor. he is a guy who gets his hands on the ball, has great anticipation and is a great offensive rebounder. Like all good offensive rebounders, he goes for every one."
TCU JUNIOR GUARD J.R. Cadot
On the teams play:
"We did not come out with the right mentality to put them away in the first half. I feel like in the second half we were able to tighten up and pull away. We took care of business after that."
About his hot streak from the field the past few games:
"Earlier this week, I was putting up shots and they were all falling. I thought I should shoot the ball more while I am on this streak. My outside shot was not falling for me earlier in the season, but I have been working on it and tonight it showed (on his first-half 3-pointer)."
