TCU's Callens Named MWC Diver of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - TCU senior Kyle Callens is the Mountain West Conference Diver of the Week; the league office announced Tuesday.
Callens won the 1-meter and 3-meter dive in TCU's 162-138 win over Air Force on Oct. 22. His 18 team points helped the Horned Frogs to their 10th-straight dual win.
The Deer Park, Texas, native tallied scores of 318.23 in the 1-meter springboard and of 327.68 in the 3-meter springboard.
Callens is the TCU record holder in the 1-meter springboard and is second on TCU's 3-meter springboard all-time list.
In his TCU career, Callens has been an all-conference performer in both diving events each of his first three years as Frog. A year ago, Callens was three times named MWC Diver of the Week. He earned the honor once during his sophomore campaign.
