TCU Selects Its Student-Athletes of the Week

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU Athletics Department announced on Wednesday that Ed Wesley and Melissa Loh have been honored with Student-Athlete of the Week accolades for their efforts for the Horned Frogs.

Wesley finished with a team-high and career-best 86 yards on seven carries in a 41-0 victory over UNLV. The TCU newcomer posted a 59-yard touchdown run to go along with a 21-yard scoring reception to lead the Frogs. This season, Wesley has taken part in three of TCU's seven-longest plays from scrimmage.

Loh posted a career-best fourth-place showing following a 2-over-par score of 218 at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown. The result bettered Loh's previous top finish of sixth overall at the 2008 Mountain West Conference Championships. Loh guided the Frogs to a seventh-place finish, which was the team's fourth consecutive top-10 showing.
