FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU assistant athletic trainer and football athletic trainer David Gable has been promoted to associate director of athletic training/sports medicine.Gable is in his fifth year with the Horned Frogs. The promotion reflects his continued growth as an athletic training professional within the TCU community and the profession as a whole.
"David has been a consistent athletic training professional since his arrival on campus," TCU director of athletic training/sports medicine Chris Hall said. "His past has led him to a great future.
"David's desire and drive to excel within the profession of athletic training is a tremendous asset to our student-athletes. Furthermore, he has the unique opportunity to educate the future of our profession in his abilities to teach the athletic training students within our educational program.
