Divers complete action at Texas Invitational

AUSTIN, Texas - TCU divers Kyle Callens and R.J. Hesselberg completed action on Saturday at the Texas Invitational at the Lee and Joe Jamall Texas Swimming Center.
Hesselberg, a junior from Saskatoon, Canada, placed fifth out of 20 divers in the three-meter event on Friday with a score of 311.40. Callens, a freshman from Deer Park, Texas, followed with a score of 279.40 to finish 13th.
On Saturday, Hesselberg recorded an impressive performance, placing third in the platform dive with a personal-best score of 292.50. Hesselberg's previous best of 285.15 earned him All-MWC honors in 2006.
The men's and women's swimming and diving squads will return to action on Dec. 15 when they will travel to Las Vegas, Nev., for the Las Vegas Invite.
