
TCU tops the nation in NSCA All-Americans

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- TCU led the nation with five football players and a total of 10 student-athletes receiving All-America honors from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).Representing the Horned Frogs' Mountain West Conference championship football team were quarterback Tye Gunn, nose tackle Jared Kesler, defensive tackle Ranorris Ray, wide receiver/kick returner Cory Rodgers and offensive guard Shane Sims.
Also receiving honors for TCU were Julie Curtis (track & field), Ashley Davis (women's basketball), Erin Estep (volleyball), Amanda Reid (swimming & diving) and Erica Tate (swimming & diving).
The NSCA awarded All-American Athlete awards to 242 collegiate student-athletes from 160 schools.
