FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU is one of just five schools nationally to be ranked in the final Top 20 in football as well as the preseason Top 20 in baseball.

On the gridiron, the Mountain West Conference champion Horned Frogs (11-1) closed the 2005 campaign ranked ninth in the USA Today coaches' poll and 11th by the Associated Press.

The 2006 TCU baseball team, coming off two straight appearances in the NCAA Regionals, has been ranked 19th in the Baseball America preseason poll.

The only other schools to be ranked in the final Top 20 in football and the preseason Top 20 in baseball are Texas (No. 1 football, No. 1 baseball), USC (No. 2 football, No. 17 baseball), LSU (No. 5/6 football, No. 20 baseball) and Florida (No. 16/12 football, No. 3 baseball).
