
Denton named director of Frog Club

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Former TCU football player and current radio analyst John Denton has been named director of the Frog Club.
Denton will assume his new duties Monday. The Frog Club provides Scholarship support for TCU student-athletes.
"TCU is fortunate to have John join the Frog Club team," TCU associate athletics director for development Davis Babb said. "He brings a passion For the Horned Frogs, successful sales and management experience and a sound familiarity with the community and alumni base.
"John will make a significant impact on our athletic development efforts."
Denton is a 1985 TCU graduate. He has served the last 10 years in sales and management capacities with Professional Turf Products, most recently as vice-president of the commercial division. He previously worked 10 years as general manager of the Dallas Reunion Senior PGA Tour event.
Denton is in his 17th year as color analyst on the TCU/ESPN Regional Sports Network. He and his wife, Linda, have two daughters: Erin and Meredith.
Additionally, Nancy Woodson has joined the Frog Club staff effective Nov. 1.
Since May 2004, Woodson has served as an annual fund officer at TCU. She was also an account executive with Fort Worth, Texas magazine.
Woodson and her husband, Doug, have three children: daughters Bailey and Lawrence Elizabeth, and son Jay.
