
TCU and ESPN 103.3 FM Extend Contract

TCU and ESPN 103.3FM have extended their current broadcast rights for another four years, according to a joint announcement from TCU Athletics and ESPN 103.3 FM Radio. The new agreement places the TCU Horned Frogs on ESPN Radio through the 2007-2008-school term by keeping ESPN 103.3FM as the flagship station for TCU Horned Frog football and basketball. "ESPN 103.3 FM has carried TCU football and basketball since we first went on the air three years ago, they were with us from day one, and we are excited to continue the relationship," said ESPN Station Manager Pete Dits. "The TCU athletic department is first class, they do things the right way and they win. We look forward to another four great years working together." "TCU has had an excellent relationship with ESPN Radio over the past three years and we are excited to sign another long-term commitment with 103.3 FM," according to TCU Athletic Director Eric Hyman. "Horned Frog fans throughout the Metroplex have enjoyed our relationship with such a first-class organization and will have the opportunity to continue to follow their team on a station which is a leader in college sports." ESPN 103.3FM is part of the ABC Radio Group of Dallas/Fort Worth and is owned by ABC, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. ABC also owns WBAP News/Talk 820, 96.3 KSCS, 96.7 The Twister and AM 620 Radio Disney in the Dallas/Fort Worth market.
