FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Junior Blount scored 19 points and Bingo Merriex added 18 as TCU beat South Florida 75-63 Saturday night.
TCU (9-19, 3-13 Conference USA) led 36-27 at halftime despite poor shooting. The Horned Frogs hit just 33 percent from the field in the half, while the Bulls (14-13, 7-9) hit 35 percent.
Jimmy Baxter scored 18 to lead USF. Reggie Kohn had 13 points and nine assists, and Yusuf Baker added nine points and 11 rebounds.
Coree Santee had 11 points and six assists for TCU
