2004-05: Competed in all 12 meets ... opened the season with an air rifle total of 545 at the Memphis Tiger Open ... shot a 542 the next day at the Ole Miss Open was the only TCU competitor in smallbore at Ole Miss shooting a 522 ... placed sixth in smallbore at Nevada with a total of 546 ... earned back-to-back top-5 finishes at UMKC and Nebraska ... notched a career-high 568 in air rifle at Nebraska ... posted air rifle totals of 560 on consecutive days against Ole Miss and West Virginia in Morgantown, W. Va. ... finished in the top-10 in air rifle at UTEP and against Air Force ... smallbore score of 550 against Air Force marked a career-high and the highest team mark of the season ... tied for second in air rifle in the team[apos]s victory over UAB ... earned a top-15 finish at the NRA Sectionals and NCAA Qualifier to close out the season.
2003-2004: Started the season strong with a sixth place air rifle finish at Nevada in September... placed second in the same event against San Francisco later that day.. placed in the top 20 in air rifle at the Memphis and Ole Miss Invitationals... earned a top-15 smallbore finish at home at the Horned Frog Invitational and shot a 379 to finish in 8th place in air rifle... shot her highest air rifle score of 380 to finish fifth at Army... placed sixth in both air rifle and smallbore at Kentucky, also shot her highest score of 1,066 in smallbore... tied for fifth in air rifle at Air Force and finished seventh in smallbore.
Prior to TCU: Lettered four years for NJROTC... earned first place Virginia air rifle awards in 2002 and 2003... team finshed eighth in the nation in 2002... 'Nikki LeCompte' award was created in her honor and given to the most dedicated cadet.
Personal: Nicole Noel LeCompte is the daughter of Steve and Mary LeCompte... birthday is December 19, 1984... undecided on a major at TCU... enjoys archery.
