SOPHOMORE (2005-06) - Suffered a season-ending injury...posted the second-best time on the team in the 200-back...member of the 400-medley team (4:03.12) that took the top spot against Air Force.
FRESHMAN (2004-2005) - Competed in three events at the Conference USA Championships... finished sixth in the 100-back (58.32), seventh in the 200-back (2:05.75) and 19th in the 200-IM (2:12.72)... received the team[apos]s Purple Heart award.
High School - All-state in the 100-back as a senior... four-year all-city and all-district selection... Swimmer of the Year from 2002-2004... team captain as a senior... holds all but two of Montwood[apos]s school records.
Personal - Lori Birkhead is the daughter of Bill and Dona Birkhead... father played football at Eastern New Mexico University... pre-major.
