A highly-respected name in the equine industry, Courtney Line joined TCU Equestrian as Assistant Jumping Seat Coach in June of 2026.
Line came to the Frogs as an accomplished hunter/jumper professional with extensive experience in rider development, competition coaching, horse training and equestrian program management.
Most recently, Line was the founder and head trainer at Circle Line Equestrian in the greater DFW metroplex. With her business, she manages an A and AA rated full-service hunter/jumper training and competition program.
Line is proven in the development of riders from beginner levels through National Grand Prix competitions. Her role specialized in rider and horse training programs focused on long-term athlete development, while also overseeing the operations of the barn and her clients.
Line coached numerous riders and horses to major championship wins and top placings at premier national competitions including Winter Equestrian Festival, Las Vegas National Horse Show, Tryon International Equestrian Center, Colorado Horse Park, Pin Oak Charity Horse Show, and USHJA Zone 7 Finals.
In addition, she also had a hand in developing young horses and matches horses appropriately to riders and competitive goals.
No stranger to the collegiate scene, Line rode at SMU for four seasons (2011-15). While with the Mustangs, she was an All-American and a two-time team captain. Line also competed in both disciplines while in Dallas.
Line was born on March 31 and is engaged to Jon Mitchell.
