C-USA Announces 2003-04 Championship Dates and Sites

Conference USA has formally released the dates and sites for the league's 2003-04 championships, as approved during the conference's annual Spring Meetings this week in Destin, Fla. The league's 15 championships covering 18 men's and women's sports will be hosted by eight different schools. Houston and Louisville will each host three championships, while Memphis, South Florida and TCU will host two.
For the first time ever, multiple championships will be held simultaneously at the same site. Houston will host Women's Swimming and Diving as well as Men's and Women's Indoor Track during the final weekend of February. In the middle of May, Softball and Men's Outdoor Track and Field will each be held at Louisville.
The men's basketball tournament returns to Cincinnati for the second time in three years, with U.S. Bank Arena in downtown Cincinnati serving as the host venue. Fort Worth is the site for the women's basketball tournament, as TCU hosts the league tournament for the first time.
