Beneson rode out for the Frogs 25 times in her senior season across the Fences and Flat events... Served as captain of the Flat unit througout the season... Had a career best overall winning percentage of .660 this season with an overall record of 16-8-1... Recorded a career-high four MOPs, three coming in Fences and one in Flat... Earned her Flat MOP in the season opener against South Dakota State with an 84 on Caprilli... Won the final MOP of her career on Senior Day with an 87-80 win in Fences over Baylor on March 11... Finished her career with 98 career appearances which puts her in sixth all-time in program history at the end of the 2021 season... Selected as an NCEA All-American for the first time in her career, named a Second Team Fences rider... Was also named to the All-Big 12 Fences team for the first time in her career... Earned the third NCEA Academic All-America honor of her career... A first team Academic All-Big 12 recipient for the first time in her career, it was her third time honored by the Big 12 academically.
