Busa placed 38th at the 2018 MIAA Eastern D2 State Championships. He was named a three-time Taunton Gazette All-Scholastic and Taunton Gazette Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year in 2018. Busa was a two-time Brockton Enterprise All-Scholastic. He was captain of the track and field team his senior year.
