Frogs roll to two victories on Friday
FORT WORTH – Opening up its home slate, the sixth-ranked TCU beach volleyball team took down Houston Christian and Florida Gulf Coast on Friday at TCU beach volleyball courts.
The Frogs earned the two sweeps rather easily, taking all 10 sets across both matches.
MATCH ONE – TCU 5, Houston Christian 0
The Horned Frogs opened up the day making quick work of HCU.
The match begun at four and five, and Marcela Mattoso and Deniela Konstantinova did not waste any time and giving TCU a 1-0 lead.
Emma Glagau and Hallie Corinne Frist were right behind them, also posting a dominant win.
As the match turned to the second set of matches, Stacy Reeves and Sofia Izuzquiza clinched it for the Frogs at flight two.
Anhelina Khmil and Natalie Glenn and then Alexandra Kurz and Sanna Madestam closed it out with wins of their own.

In the second match of the day TCU earned another sweep, quickly dispatching Florida Gulf Coast.
Opening things up with wins for the Frogs at No. 4 and No. 5 was Marcela Mattoso and Hallie Corinne Frist, quickly followed by Hannah Taylor and Melina Mol.
The success continued for TCU in the second, with Elea Beutel and Adriana Serrano Ferro clinching the match at court three.
To close things out, Anehlina Khmil and Natalie Glenn took down their pair and Stacy Reeves and Sofia Izuzquiza cemented the 5-0 sweep.
