TCU opens 2026 season at 1 p.m. on Sunday at the indoor Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center
FORT WORTH – No. 3 TCU commences the 2026 dual season on Sunday when it hosts Abilene Christian at 1 p.m. at the indoor Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
Starting with Sunday's season-opener, the Horned Frogs will play six of their first eight matches at home.
The Horned Frogs have won 18 consecutive home duals and 34 straight overall dating back to March of 2023. TCU's 34-match home winning streak is the longest in all of college tennis. The Frogs finished undefeated on the purple courts in each of the past two seasons.
TCU is 43-9 all-time and 13-2 under head coach David Roditi in season-openers.
TCU is staging its season-opener against the Wildcats for the fourth consecutive season, as Roditi and ACU head coach Juan Nunez are good friends. The Frogs most recently battled ACU in the opening round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
Admission to all TCU home matches is free. Fans outside the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex can watch a live stream of the match via SwingVision.

TCU and Virginia have combined to win three of the last four NCAA Championships.
The contest is a rematch of the programs' 2025 NCAA quarterfinal tilt. TCU survived a grueling 4-3 dual in a match that was decided on a doubles point tiebreaker and winner-take-all third set on court six. The Frogs went on to reach the NCAA Championship for the second time in as many years.
