Frogs open season August 29 at AP Ranch
FORT WORTH – The Distance Frogs are back in action this month as TCU cross country unveiled its 2025 schedule on Monday.
Looking to build off one of the best seasons in program history a year ago, the Horned Frogs race four times in the state of Texas this fall. TCU kicks off its season on Aug. 29 in Funky Town with the third annual John McKenzie Invitational. Last season, both the men and women took home first at their home meet hosted at AP Ranch. The Frogs will also race at the UTA Gerald Richey Invitational (Sept. 5 in Arlington), Texas A&M Invitational (Sept. 13 in College Station) and Arturo Barrios Invitational (Oct. 17 in College Station).
Postseason racing will take place in Lawrence, Kansas, this year as the Jayhawks host the Big 12 Championships to close out October. TCU will then run for a spot in the National Championships on Nov. 14 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at the South Central Regional.
