FROG FOCUS
The Horned Frogs are 2-2 coming into the match, following two ranked losses and wins against the Denver Pioneers and Rice Owls. TCU is coming off of a defeat in Santa Barbara to the No. 24 UCSB Gauchos.
The match started in doubles, where UCSB won on courts one and three to take the doubles point.
In singles, the Horned Frogs jumped to a hot start where Isabel Pasucal, Raquel Caballero, Yu-Chin Tsai and Cayetana Gay all won their first set. However, the Gauchos proved too much for the Frogs, as UCSB won on courts one, four and six to secure the match, 4-0.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION
The Brown Bears are 2-3 to open the season and are playing in their first true road match of the season. Brown started the season hot, with back-to-back victories against Boston College and Bryant. However, they entered a skid in the ECAC Indoor Championship, where they suffered three straight losses to the likes of Columbia, Dartmouth and Penn.
This is only the second time the Frogs and Bears have faced one another, with the Frogs winning in their only ever matchup in a 7-0 victory in Fort Worth.
