Player Earns NCEA Horse of the Month Honors

Comes after he had three MOP rides in October
WACO, Texas – Player, a Reining horse in the TCU equestrian program, has been named Horse of the Month for October, the National Collegiate Equestrian Association announced on Thursday afternoon.
Player has competed in every one of TCU's home meets this season in Reining and has posted some superb rides.
In the opener, he earned MOP honors after a 72.50 score. He followed that up with helping Cassie Hacking, the Big 12 Reining Rider of the Month, to a 72.50 to earn MOP honors during the Baylor meet.
To bookend the month, Hacking once again earned MOP honors, this time scoring a 73 to earn a victory against Auburn.
The seventh-ranked TCU equestrian team is back in action on Friday for its final meet of the fall season against No. 1 Georgia at 10 a.m. at KSM Bear Creek Farms.
