Horned Frogs look to impress in their first-ever regional appearance.
FORT WORTH – As the already-impressive season continues, history sits at the feet of the Horned Frogs.
TCU heads north to the Show-Me State this weekend to compete at the USA Triathlon West Regional on Oct. 14 in Springfield, Missouri. The Frogs are coming off a first-place finish in their last competition at the Battle in the Fort Triathlon.
Jenna Buchanan has been dominant for the Horned Frogs all season, coming off a fifth-place finish at the Battle in the Fort Triathlon. Buchanan previously led the team in points at the last race, with 38.
The race will begin with a 750-meter swim, followed by a 20-kilometer bike ride and a 5-kilometer run to close it out.
To advance automatically, TCU must place in the top three spots on the leaderboard.
