Stadler, a junior from Costa Mesa, California, wasn't on the court long but still managed to help TCU go 2-0 during crucial matchups against No. 14 Oklahoma and No. 11 Oklahoma State. Stadler extended his singles win streak to five by getting the first singles point in both games against the Oklahoma schools, beating Oklahoma's Max Stewart 6-2, 6-1, and Oklahoma State's Luke Hammond 6-1, 6-0. Stadler and doubles partner Bertus Kruger also won both of their doubles matches on the weekend.
Stadler and the men's tennis team play Baylor on Thursday, April 19 for the final home match of the season.
Westendorff, a freshman from Dallas, Texas, and Sassin, a senior from San Antonio, Texas, won both of their matches at the Battle at the Bayou and led TCU to a 1-1 record to conclude the season. The pair won both of their games in straight sets, beating Houston Baptist's Danielle Wheeler/Mikayla Vivens 21-14, 21-17 and No. 11 Georgia State's Kate Novack/Amie Held 21-18, 23-21. The tandem led TCU with 14 wins on the season and Westnedorff had 17 wins individually to lead the team.
The beach volleyball team will return to action next season.
