Beach: TCU Goes 1-1 on Final Day

In the second meeting between the two teams this season, the Horned Frogs avenged a 3-2 loss on March 3 at the Frogs' Fight in the Fort in Fort Worth, Texas.
Avery Arellano and Hannah Rogers went 3-1 for the weekend after beating Tulane's Rio Frohoff/Gabriella Becerra 26-24, 21-11, while Jordan Westendorff and Kristy Wieser finished the invitational with a 2-1 mark after beating the Green Wave's Ashley Delgado/Addison Hermstad 21-13, 21-19.
Jillian Bergeson and Jaelyn Greene picked up their first win of the weekend by defeating Tulane's Lauren Orlich/Anna Chin 21-14, 21-13, as did Jensyn Bledsoe and Molly Scheel with their 21-18, 21-19 victory over Lan Nguyen/Tarin Mergener.
In the first match of the day against No. 18 Florida Atlantic, the Frogs fell 4-1 with Rogers and Arellano recording the Frogs' lone point with a 18-21, 21-14, 16-14 win over FAU's Nicole Navarro/Kaila Dorish.
The Frogs are back in action next Friday and Saturday at the Seminole Beach Battle hosted by Florida State in Tallahassee, Florida, where they will meet Georgia State, UAB, Florida State, Florida Atlantic and UNC-Wilmington.
