ABOUT THE GAME
* No. 12 TCU will look to clinch a spot in the Big 12 Championship Game when it hosts Baylor Friday at 11 a.m.
* A win by the Horned Frogs will put them in the Dec. 2 Big 12 title game against Oklahoma at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
* When TCU and Baylor last met in Fort Worth in 2015, it was also on Black Friday with the Horned Frogs winning 28-21 in double overtime. The game was played in a driving rainstorm and near freezing temperatures.
* TCU is 9-2 or better after 11 games for the third time in four seasons, ninth time in 13 years and 11 times overall in 17 campaigns under Gary Patterson.
* A win over Baylor would give TCU its 11th 10-win season in Patterson's 17 seasons as head coach. Prior to his tenure, the Horned Frogs had just four 10-win seasons in their history.
* The Horned Frogs are 20-0 when playing as an AP top-10 team at home under Patterson.
* TCU is 11-6 in short-week games under Patterson.

SENIOR DAY
* TCU will recognize its 35 seniors in a pregame ceremony.
* The 2017 seniors have posted a 38-12 record while being part of 2014 Big 12 and Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl titles as well as a 2016 Valero Alamo Bowl championship.
* The seniors have 10 wins against ranked opponents the last four seasons. They are bowl bound for the fourth straight year and have defeated every Big 12 school at least once. They are also going for their third perfect season at home in four years.
DEFENDING THEIR HOME
* TCU is 5-0 in 2017, including a pair of shutouts, and 81-19 overall in 17 seasons under Gary Patterson at Amon G. Carter Stadium.
* The Horned Frogs' last home contest, a Nov. 4 24-7 win over Texas, marked the 100th home game for Patterson as head coach.
SERIES HISTORY
* Last year's 62-22 win in Waco gave TCU a 53-52-7 series lead over Baylor.
* With 112 games played, TCU has faced Baylor more than any opponent in its history.
* The Horned Frogs are 26-28-4 in home games against the Bears and 27-24-1 on the road. TCU and Baylor tied in both neutral-site meetings.
* The first game between TCU and Baylor was a scoreless tie in 1899.
* TCU is 6-3 against Baylor since the Southwest Conference dissolved after the 1995 season. The Horned Frogs are 3-2 versus the Bears in the Big 12 era.

* TCU cornerback Ranthony Texada and Baylor cornerback Raleigh Texada are brothers.
FORMER CROSSTOWN RIVALS
* After being founded in 1873 in Thorp Spring, Texas, as AddRan Male and Female College, TCU's campus moved to Waco in 1895.
* The name was changed to AddRan Christian University in 1889 and Texas Christian University in 1902.
* TCU relocated to downtown Fort Worth in 1910 when the Waco facility burned. The University then opened three new buildings on its present campus in 1911.

* TCU has announced Board of Trustees approval to begin fundraising for a $100 million premium seating expansion of Amon G. Carter Stadium. Construction would begin in Summer 2018 with completion in time for the 2019 season.
* TCU has a 32-4 record in the three seasons it came off a non-winning record in the 17-year tenure of head coach Gary Patterson. The Horned Frogs were 11-1 and Mountain West champions in 2005 after a 5-6 campaign in 2004. TCU went 12-1 with Big 12 and Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl championships in 2014 following a 4-8 season in 2013. TCU is 9-2 this season after last year's 6-7 campaign.
* Over the last four seasons, TCU's 38-12 overall record and 25-10 conference mark rank second in the Big 12.
* TCU leads the nation this season by holding six opponents to seven points or less.
