Team Notes
* TCU is 8-2 or better after 10 games for the third time in four seasons, seventh time in 10 years and 11 times overall in 17 campaigns under head coach Gary Patterson.
* Over the last four seasons, TCU's 37-12 overall record and 24-9 conference mark rank second in the Big 12.
* TCU entered the game 4-0 against teams it lost to last season. This was the Horned Frogs' first loss versus an opponent it was also defeated by a year ago.
* The Horned Frogs dropped to 5-4 in their last nine contests versus teams ranked in the AP top 5.
* TCU fell to 40-6 as a top-10 team under Patterson.
* TCU is now 24-21 against ranked teams under Patterson.
* A 62-yard first-quarter completion from Kenny Hill to Kyle Hicks marked TCU's third-longest play from scrimmage this season.
* The Horned Frogs did not lead at the half for the second time this season. Both games resulted in a loss.
* With L.J. Collier's sack in the fourth quarter, TCU has recorded a sack in 51 of its last 53 games.
* TCU scored for the 316th consecutive game. It's the nation's second-longest current streak and fourth all-time in NCAA history. The Horned Frogs haven't been blanked since Nov. 16, 1991, at Texas (32-0).
* TCU's team captains were Ben Banogu, Kenny Hill, Travin Howard and Matt Pryor. At the numbers were John Diarse and Nick Orr.
* TCU wore a white jersey with white pants and a white helmet.
* The attendance of 88,308 was the largest in Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium history.
Individual Notes
* Darius Anderson's 13-yard first-quarter scoring run, on his first touch of the game, was his team-best eighth touchdown, all rushing, on the season.
* Anderson had a team-best 42 yards on seven carries. He led TCU in rushing for the eighth time in 10 games this season.
* John Diarse had two receptions for 56 yards to extend his team-best streak to 24 consecutive games with a catch. It includes his final contest at LSU in 2015.
* Jaelan Austin's 67 yards receiving on two receptions tied a career-high, previously set in the 2016 Valero Alamo Bowl versus Oregon.
* Kenny Hill's 1-yard second-quarter scoring run was his third rushing touchdown of the season.
* Kyle Hicks' 3-yard receiving touchdown from Hill was his first of the season and fourth of his career.
* Travin Howard's team-best 13 tackles gave him his 14th career double-digit game, the most among active Horned Frogs.
* Howard's 318 career tackles move him past Jason Phillips (315, 2005-08) for the most in the Gary Patterson era. Phillips is Howard's position coach.
