FORT WORTH, Texas - GoFrogs.com takes a closer look at former NCEA All-America honoree Caitlin Ader in this week's Where Are They Now series.
Ader, who was a First-Team Academic All-American in 2014, claimed All-Big 12 recognition in both Equitation on the Flat and Equitation over Fences during her senior season. By doing so, she not only became the first student-athlete in program history to earn all-conference honors in both, but also only the second student-athlete to claim recognition on the Flat.
Ader had a standout junior season in which she earned NCEA Second-Team All-American accolades. She claimed her first All-America certificate in Equitation on the Flat after going 9-5-1 on the year with three MOP honors. By earning second-team honors, Ader, who wrapped-up her career with 29 wins and seven MOP accolades in Hunt Seat, became the first Horned Frog in school history to earn NCEA Second-Team All-America recognition in Equitation on the Flat.
Since leaving Fort Worth, Ader was recently hired as an assistant coach in Equestrian at Sacred Heart University. Prior to SHU, the Florida native came to Sacred Heart from the Brindlewood Stables and Equestrian Center in Flower Mound. After graduating from TCU in the spring of 2014, she worked as an Assistant Trainer at Evenstride Ltd. in Byfield, Mass. From there she went to New York to Heritage Farm in Katonah to be their Equine Manager.
