The Rundown
The Horned Frogs stormed out to 3-2 lead in the meet after Equitation over Fences. Carley Barnett topped Halle Kutsche, 78-73, while Jayme Omand upended Molly Dunn, 78-77. Senior Nicole Diamantis finished off her regular-season career defeating Christina Martinelli, 82-70.
In Equitation on the Flat, TCU swept K-State, 5-0. Diamantis claimed her third MOP accolade of the year by dropping Gretchen Koenen, 87-79. Kari Hancock upended Henley Adkins, 80-73, while Barnett defeated Christina Martinelli, 78-69. Molly Peddicord and Omand rounded out the sweep by topping Taylor Schmidt and Rory Reichelt, respectively.
In Horsemanship, senior Erin Gillette claimed her first MOP of the season en route to dropping Ashley Anderson, 75-72. Rylee Morgan and Megan McMullen also won their points for the Purple and White defeating Paige Kemper and Alyssa Lombardi, respectively.
In Reining, Meloney Morris claimed her first MOP honor with a 72.5-66.5 victory over Kali Retzler. Brooke Boyle won the other point for the Purple and White by dropping Danielle Kemper, 72.5-69.
