TCU Muscle Milk Athletes of the Week

FORT WORTH -- Ariah Palter and Molly Scheel of beach volleyball have been named TCU's Muscle Milk Athletes of the Week based on impressive performances.

The duo went undefeated at the Gamecock Invitational in Columbia, S.C. last week. In their first game, Scheel and Palter scored a 21-15, 21-15 win over Gabbi Moreno and Emily Martinez. In the final match of the tournament against Carson-Newman, the pair recorded their fifth straight victory of the season by downing Megan Morris and Eileen Anderson, 21-13, 21-14.

Scheel, a native of Phoenix, Ariz., and Palter, a native of Countryside, Ill., are now 3-0 at the No. 5 position and have moved to 10-3 on the season.

Up next, the TCU beach volleyball team will return to action on the road by traveling to Corpus Christi, Texas to take on the host Islanders and Houston Baptist on Saturday, April 2.
