
McMullen Claims Reserve Champion Accolades

FORT WORTH, Texas - Senior Megan McMullen earned Reserve Champion honors Monday night at the 2016 AQHA Collegiate Horsemanship Challenge.
By claiming runner-up accolades, McMullen has now placed in the top-4 in each of the last three years. She is also the only NCEA rider nationally to compete at the challenge the last three seasons in Oklahoma City.
McMullen, who was one of 16 collegiate riders chosen to compete at the prestigious event, advanced to the final rounds after defeating Michelle McDowell of Grand Valley State with a score of 148. In the second round action, the Tennessee native posted a score of 143 to down Cazenovia College's Dylan Dombrowski.
