FORT WORTH, Texas – Senior and returning NCEA All-America honoree Nicole Diamantis claimed the Adult Equitation Championship Saturday at the prestigious Capital Challenge Horse Show in Maryland.
"Nikki rode beautifully all weekend," said Hunt Seat Head Coach Logan Fiorentino. "I'm so very proud and excited for her. She competed for TCU on Thursday and was really strong, so I wasn't surprised to see her ride well this weekend. It was a lot of fun to see all of her hard work pay off at the Capital Challenge."
Diamantis won both jumping classes and placed third in Equitation on the Flat, which helped her earn the division championship. On Sunday, she competed in the North American Adult Equitation Championship, wrapping-up competition fourth overall.
