TCU Ready For South Dakota State Saturday

FORT WORTH, Texas - No. 7 TCU is set to host South Dakota State on Saturday, Oct. 31 at Turning Point Ranch in Springtown. Start time is set for 10 a.m. CT.

The All-Time Series
The Horned Frogs and Jackrabbits are meeting for just the fifth time in program history Saturday. The two teams, who haven't met since the 2013 season, are currently tied at 2-2 in the all-time series, but TCU has won two out of the last three meetings.
Home Sweet Home
The Frogs are 13-5 overall during the regular-season in Springtown since 2012-13. The Purple and White are now 5-2 in regular-season outings against league foes since 2013-14.
MOP Success
Molly Peddicord has had quite the start to her 2015-16 campaign. The junior has gone a perfect 8-0 between Equitation on the Flat and Equitation over Fences. She has also garnered three-straight MOP rides between the two disciplines.
Stewart Starts Strong
Returning All-American Chantz Stewart has shined during the fall campaign, going a perfect 4-0 in Reining. The 2015 Big 12 Reining Rider of the Year honoree went 6-0 last year against conference foes during the regular-season. She has now gone an impressive 12-1-1 in her last 14 regular-season outings in Reining.
Scouting TCU
TCU comes into Saturday with a 2-2 overall record and a 0-1 mark in Big 12 action after falling to nationally ranked Baylor in its last outing. The Horned Frogs are currently ranked No. 7 in the NCEA poll.
Against the Bears, the Purple and White claimed two MOP accolades and battled Baylor to a 9-9 draw, but fell by an overall raw score.
On the Hunt Seat side, Molly Peddicord improved to 4-0 on the season en route to earning her first MOP honor in Equitation on the Flat. Mady Fithian and Kari Hancock claimed victories in the discipline dropping Britteny Mirkov and Savannah Jenkins, respectively.
Peddicord won the lone point for the Purple and White in Equitation over Fences defeating Gabby Conte, 82-80.
On the Western side, Carley Montemuro captured her second-consecutive MOP honor in Reining by upending Claire Ulhman, 72.5-71.5. Brooke Boyle and Chantz Stewart were also victorious helping TCU win the event, 3-2.
In Horsemanship, Rylee Morgan and Megan McMullen both secured victories defeating Bray Bergstrom and Mary Brown, respectively.
Scouting South Dakota State
South Dakota State comes into Saturday with a 1-2 overall record after defeating Minnesota-Crookston in its last outing, 12-3. Against the Golden Eagles, the Jackrabbits claimed all four MOP honors.
SDSU opened the season falling to South Carolina, 9-7. Against league foe K-State, the Jackrabbits dropped a hard-fought 11-8 decision.
In its last outing, Mariah Wright, Blair Julia Wright, Angela Lopez and Natalie Howard all posted MOP rides.

The Horned Frogs will hit the road as the Purple and White face off against K-State and Oklahoma State next weekend. TCU will take on the Wildcats on Friday, Nov. 13 before traveling to Stillwater on Saturday, Nov. 14.
