SAN DIEGO -- TCU's football team took to the practice field for the final time in 2011 on Monday before enjoying more San Diego County Credit Union Bowl Activities in the afternoon.
The Horned Frogs visited SeaWorld San Diego immediately following practice and took in the likes of Shamu, a sea lion show and numerous other attractions around the park.
In the evening, TCU coach Gary Patterson and select players attended the Make-A-Wish Night at the OMNI Hotel in downtown San Diego. The Frogs met with and took gifts to children involved in the Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego.
Patterson addressed the room, referencing TCU's previous honorary captain from the 2008 San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl, who is a participant in Make-A-Wish San Diego.
TCU is set to take part in the bowl kickoff luncheon tomorrow afternoon aboard the U.S.S. Midway. Additionally, 10 members of the TCU football program will be honored in a graduation ceremony tomorrow evening.
