TCU NAMES ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

FORT WORTH, Texas - This past week Matthew Love (Track and Field) and Carrie von Uhlit (Equestrian) earned TCU Athletes of the Week for their performances this past weekend for the Horned Frogs.

Love posted a seasonal-best time of 46.65 seconds to win the 400-meter dash at the TCU Invitational. His time was not only a seasonal-best, but ranks 25th on the NCAA Descending Order List. It also was the second-fastest time in the Mountain West Conference this spring.

Last Saturday, Carrie von Uhlit won the 2009 Varsity Equestrian Reining Individual Championship, helping lead TCU to runner-up honors at the 2009 Varsity Equestrian National Championships. With her win over Texas A&M's Bri Parnel, she concluded her senior year with 16 reining wins.
