Patterson to take part in coin toss at Texans' game

HOUSTON -- TCU head football coach Gary Patterson will take part in the opening coin toss at Thursday night's National Football League game between the Denver Broncos and Houston Texans at Reliant Stadium.
The Horned Frogs will face the University of Houston in the Texas Bowl on Dec. 28 at Reliant Stadium. It will be TCU's ninth bowl appearance in the last 10 seasons. The Frogs will look to win three straight bowl games for the first time since 1936-39.
