
TCU to scrimmage at Baylor and Stephen F. Austin

FORT WORTH, Texas - The dawn of a new era is nearing at TCU with the TCU equestrian team opening its inaugural season this weekend with a pair of scrimmages against Baylor and Stephen F. Austin.
"We appreciate both Baylor and Stephen F. Austin working with us to get these scrimmages in place as we continue to move towards competing," head coach Gary Reynolds said. "Both programs have been very flexible in working with us and we are excited about the opportunity."
On Friday, the Horned Frogs will scrimmage against Baylor in Waco, Texas at the Willis Family Equestrian Center at 3 p.m.
Following Friday's scrimmage at Baylor, the Horned Frogs will travel to Nacogdoches, Texas, to scrimmage Stephen F. Austin at 12 p.m. on Sunday.
Friday's show will begin with equitation over fences and reigning. Equitation on the flat and horsemanship will follow.
