TCU Wins at Centenary

SHREVEPORT, La. (Feb. 5, 2001) -- TCU senior Michelle Parker won the individual competition, and TCU Purple won the team title in smallbore rifle competition against Centenary on Saturday.
Parker shot a 548 for first place. TCU senior Dena Putnam placed third with 515. TCU Purple led the team competition with 2,037 points. TCU White placed third with 1,713 points. The Centenary Gents placed second with 1,969 points, and the Ladies finished fourth with 1,653 points.
TCU begins post-season competition on Friday, February 9, when they host NCAA Sectionals at the TCU Rifle Range on the TCU campus.
